macOS 15.0 Sequoia may arrive in September
Apple will allegedly make macOS 15 Sequoia available in mid-September. According to recent reports, this means it will be available a few months earlier than the normal release date. It was stated that Apple wants to synchronize the operating system before Christmas and provide application optimization.
If Sequoia is released in September, it would be the earliest macOS release since OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion in 2012. That’s a big change from new macOS releases in late September or October.
More importantly, the new macOS version will be released before the iOS update for the first time. iPhone 15 is expected to be released towards the end of September. This means that macOS 15 will come before iOS 17.
On the other hand, Apple is conducting beta tests for macOS 15. As part of Beta 3 released last week, M1 Mac users had the opportunity to experience Apple Intelligence. Still, it remains to be seen how comprehensive macOS 15 will be and whether it will meet this unexpected release schedule.
